Resources

It is our goal at the DeKalb County Watersheds to conduct watershed planing that aids in the implementation and adoption of BMP's for all new construction.

With the proper selection, installation, and maintenance of BMP's on your site, you can help improve water quality in DeKalb County.

Illinois Urban Manual

Reducing the risk of sediment and water moving off your site starts with proper planning and correct use of BMP's. The Illinois Urban Manual is a outstanding resource for developers, contractors, planners, engineers, and government officials. Clink on the link below to visit the IUM website.
