City of Sandwich - Lower Little Rock Creek Watershed

  The City of Sandwich initiated watershed planning activities in 2020 with the aid of Illinois EPA 319 grant funding and local community support. The plan encompasses a portion of the Little Rock Creek subwatershed that flows north to south into the Fox River. With input from community members, local organizations, and elected officials the City of Sandwich now has an open road map to improving their local watershed and addressing stormwater issues with resilient best management practices. 

 The planning area totals 10,451 acres. 

 The watershed plan was developed by Applied Ecological Services, Inc.
