Upper South Branch Kishwaukee River Watershed Planning Area Map

Background Information

The Illinois EPA has granted 319 funding for another planning process encompassing the region of DeKalb County shown in the figure above. Financial contributions from the DeKalb County Community Foundation and Kishwaukee Water Reclamation District have been instrumental in providing matching funds to make this watershed project happen. Thank you!


 The planning area totals 63,219 acres. 

 The watershed plan was developed by Applied Ecological Services, Inc.
